3D Printing: The New Era of Printing

Earlier stage of printer people only can print black and white print after that color printing technology introduces the color printing. By this revolution the technology now introduced 3D printing. This technology becomes more popular in a short period.
3D Printing

What is a 3D printer?

The meaning of 3D is three dimensions. 3D printing is determined based on the methods of printing 2D printing.  In fact, the printer most 3D printer conversion with another axis is flat. Therefore, the process is the same as in the case of the original 2D printer.

As 2D printer the horizontal X and Y-axis movement, the process can be moved to the internal tape drives and motors. With the flat of his equipment, you will be able, each layer of the 3D objects at the same level of detail 2D print. The vertical Z is allows you to print 3D print.

Methods:
There are some methods of 3D printer for printing the object:
1) Selective Laser Melting or (SLM);
2) Selective Laser Sintering or (SLS);
3) Stereo lithography or (SLA);
4) Fused Deposition Modeling or (FDM);
5) Laminated Object Manufacturing or (LOM)
6) Electron Beam Melting or (EBM) and etc.

The method depends on which industries are going print or produce printing. Now lots of engineers are trying to improve methods of 3D printing.

Uses
Usually architects and engineers use professional and personal 3-D printers. Also Designers, artists, inventors, students, hobbyists and entrepreneurs use it in office, home, classroom or workshop settings to rotate digital concepts into prototypes, models and yet ready-to-use products, such as plastic toys and jewelry. Nowadays component manufacture and prototyping are also using 3D printers.

Advantages of 3D printing:

Faster Response Time
Reduced Costs
Excellent exterior Finish
High stability
Easy Machining
Functional Models and Look Very Similar to the Real Ones

Disadvantages of 3D printing:

Size Limitations
Sometimes print looks unfinished
Printer ink Cost is quite high

3D printing technology is now improving within a short period lots of impossible will possible in near future.
